Himachal Pradesh is definitely the beauty repository of all the Himalayan States with Holy abodes,  trembling waterfalls, gushing brookes, glacial lakes , lush green pastures, snow capped mountains and much more. Himachal Pradesh doesn’t stop with that, its legacy continues with numerous trekking trails that draws the wanderers to explore the grace of Himalaya amidst the wilderness.

  1. patalsu trek.

 

Lying at an altitude of motion 13,846 feet high above the sea level in Solang Valley, Manali, patalsu Trek is a moderately difficult trekking experience.

Starting from Solang Nallah near Manali battery goes through the open Alpine grasslands to narrow ridges and then to moraine paths and finally through the densely packed oak and Pine forest. Reaching its peak come across birds and some spot species like Monals and pheasants.

Reaching the peak you will be astonished by the panoramic view of the Kullu valley and the peaks of hanuman tibba and friendship peak towering above all others. You can keep our expectations high to witness the picturesque view.

 

  1. Triund Trek

 

Starting at McLeodGanj  this trek is considered as one of the easiest treks. Lying at an altitude of 9760 feet above sea level this track is popular amongst the beginners. with Striking views of dhauladhar range on one side and the winsome kangra valley on the other side. hiking up the mesmerising trail hardly takes 3-4 hours for beginners. with all comfortable terrains the high ranges welcome you. on climbing up you’ll come across bhagsu nag waterfall from where the summit gets steep. The sun crawling down behind the mountains and rising up again from behind is a breathtaking view which can’t be missed out.

 

  1. kareri lake trek

 

a trekking experience with moderate level of difficulty, the kareri lake trek starts from dharamsala.  this trek takes you to the glacial kareri lake, that is formed by the water tumbling down the minkiani peak. from dharamsala you’ll have to walk 25kms to kareri village and an addition of 6 more km to liyoti village for a night stay. the next day you walk through the densely packed forests and then climb up the step accents along the kareri nallah and nyund nallah. from there you will cross some Alpine fields, wooden bridges and cross rivulets to finally reach the kareri lake in minkiani pass. In absolute emptiness and silence the lake reflects its beauty with an ancient shiva temple blessing the beauty.

 

  1. KheerGanga trek

 

one of the easiest treks that even a beginner can take up. It stands high at 13,050 ft above sea level. starting from barshaini village. The trek takes you through the Parvati valley.

With a bit of spiritual essence and some adventurous spirit,  KheerGanga stuns you throughout the trail, taking you through the packed pine and oak forest.  climbing up on the trail you’ll come across lushy green pastures over the unsculpted cliffs interrupted by the burbling hot springs.

At the summit,  there lies a natural hot water spring named Parvati kind where trekkers bathe and rejuvenate themselves after the tiring uphill journey.

 

  1. prashar lake trek.

 

another easiest and shortest trek in Himachal. this one is also a beginner friendly trek and starts from panarsa. there are two routes via which one can reach the prashar lake. the first one is through baggi village and the other one is through jwalapur village. from panarsa you’ll need to head towards jwalapur village, from there you need to walk through the small Himachal villages experiencing the spectacular views of dhauladhar,  Kinnear and pir panjal ranges. the walk take you deep into the forest which gets quieter and quieter. after the quite walk of about 4-5 hours in the deep forest you will finally reach the stunning prashar lake.

Below the lovely blue skies stands the beauty of local architecture as a temple. It is believed that sages meditated in this place and thus this place and lake is considered sacred. offering the most scenic view, the sun rising and sunsets sets up a special level of excitement by painting the blue sky in bright pink and gold.
